I recently upgraded from r1822 to r1897 and just ran into a problem with the quiver that was supposed to be fixed. I found some arrows of Slay Demon that were better than the ones I currently had in my full quiver. I decided to replace them with the new arrows, so I wielded them and, as expected, was prompted as to which arrows I'd like to replace. I indicated the old arrows of Slay Demon and all went well. I dropped the old arrows and then had a change of heart. I noticed that one quiver slot contained just one arrow of Slay Evil left over from my battle with Morgoth, so I decided to discard that instead. I picked up the old arrows of Slay Demon and wielded them expecting again to be prompted. Instead the arrows were just added to the quiver and 28 arrow of Slay Animal simply disappeared.
