Gad Zooks! Playing NetAngband, just got a superb feeling on DL1. Found a Rod of Acid Balls (125 damage/33% failure rate/27 turn recharge), something powerful that I can actually use! Now I may have to 'play to win', rather than my original plan of 'just screw around for a while'. If only there were tiles
