    Ring of Speed +23 !!!

    Ring of Speed +23
    initially cursed with paralysis and 'occasionally makes loud noise'.... +45 curse
    Eventually found *Remove Curse* and got rid of the latter.

    Prior to this I think the best I'd seen was one +19 and one +17


    ... finished the game without boots of speed :-)

    while on subject of stupid speed..... recently....
    Weapon +9 speed
    Armor +9 Speed
    ring +9 speed
    boots +10 speed
    amulet +3 speed

    base speed +42... with staff of speed +45!

    finished the game with turn counter under 30k.... a personal best.
    Also finished game in under 2hrs.... :-D (similar to previous 2hr speedruns... clone monster n druj to get from level 30 to 40)

      That is an absolute monster. The most I've ever seen reported was 23 or 24. The biggest I ever found was 22, and that was a long time ago.
