    Odd map behavior...

Here is something I have never noticed... I'm cruising around dlvl 35 or something and cast detect doors/stairs and see a door pop up in teh middle of nowhere in the corner of the map. I got excited, thinking it was a vault. I tunnel all the way through to it, and it is a cross room:

    XX
    XX
    XXXXXX
    XXXXXX
    XX
    XX

similar to that, with a carrion crawler in it. It wasn't a vault, just a regular room. And, it is completely disconnected from the entire level. Anyone see this before?

The dungeon generation algorithm is capable of generating disconnected rooms, although it usually doesn't.

That was just very odd. For all the years I have played (and not as much as a majority of you all...) I have never seen this happen.
