I like the new damage values in the monster recall but I don't know when/why they are revealed. Could they be revealed when a monster is "probed" by magic?

Damage values for spells and abilities (arrows, missiles) are always revealed.
Damage values for breath attacks are only revealed when you know the monster's average hp, as breath damage is based on (current) hp. Unfortunately the only way to learn average hp currently is to kill the monster a "sufficient number" of times.
I would definitely be in favor of reducing the number of necessary kills to learn average hp, learning average hp when probed, or both. -
How about max breath damage values being revealed? Personally, I would prefer an effective in-game mechanic for building the monster recall for each character, rather than using either an on-going monster recall over multiple characters or off-game spoilers...Comment
