blank screen r1796

In r1796 ascii mode just gives a blank screen. Tiles work but you get no text.

What platform are you on? Can you post some screen shots? As far as I can tell all the commits between r1792 and r1796 affect the quiver, so I'm not sure what could be causing that problem (and I certainly don't see it on Linux).

I can't reproduce this either. Try a make clean and rebuild.

Win XP. r1792 crashes when I try to fire stuff but I can see.

Oh! Man, I had some weird stuff like this not too long ago. Have you tried changing the font on the main window? You can change the font with the application menus after starting the program: Window > Font > Term-0 window, use 8x13b.fon or 8x13c.fon and see if that works.
