Who uses stashes when playing *bands in Ironman style? (Including Ironband)

By 'stash', I mean a cache of useful items that you put somewhere on the level, expecting to come back to them later.

And what do you put in your stash??

I do this in normal sometimes, to protect scrolls, wands/ etc from being blown up by breathers.

You might try searching r.g.r.a for a couple of threads some years ago by a fellow who beat Ingband with a dwarf priest. AFAIK he was the first ironman winner (although some quibbled that he didn't always take the first available stairs down). He goes into some detail about building a stash as soon as he enters a level and visiting it just before leaving the level, As I remember he stashed heavy items and things that might be burned, stolen, or otherwise destroyed.
