This could be fun, name your favorite things!

1. What is your favorite item type? (EX Rapier, Mace of Disruption, Leather sandals, etc)

2. What is your favorite armor ego? (Please don't say speed! :P)

My answers:

1. Mace of Disruption, despite only finding one.
2. Elvenkind armor/shield, resistance lottery ftw!
3. Defender... I love getting my bases covered early.
4. Thranduil, ESP is awesome.
5. Andruril, I found it once and I was so ticked when I died... (would be ringil but never found that... yet)
6. Ring of Power, Nenya.
7. Ring of Power, Nenya.
8. Dunadan
9. Ranger or Rogue, hard to choose
10. Law Drakes, I like the color for some reason, and the name, odd but yeah.

1. What is your favorite item type? (EX Rapier, Mace of Disruption, Leather sandals, etc)

Any unknown ring, especially in the midgame. It becomes a guessing game on whether you're gonna find something janky or a super-neat artifact ring.


2. What is your favorite armor ego? (Please don't say speed! :P)
'of Aman', since it's a random resist, it could always be the one I need.

3. What is your favorite weapon ego?
Westernesse. In the early game, it's always the most useful (Orcs and Trolls!), even more so than many early artifacts (like the daggers).

4. What is your favorite artifact armor?
Shield of Thorin. I hate hate HATE acid spitters.

5. What is your favorite artifact weapon?
Sting. It's a weapon you are likely to find early, and it's amazingly game-changing. It has a strong chance of being your best weapon till you are stat capped.

6. What is your favorite artifact amulet, light, or ring?
Phial of Galadrial. It's never a real game till I find me a permalight.

7. What is your favorite artifact overall?
Palantir of Westernesse, once I'm powerful enough to handle the aggravate.

8. What is your favorite race?
High Elf. It's far too powerful, btw. There's no reason to not pick HE every game.

9. What is your favorite class?
Ranger. Great utility, excellent melee ability, and the shot bonus is just so powerful.

10. And Finally, what is your favorite monster?
I'll split this into two questions, favorite monster and favorite Unique. Favorite monster is Great Bile Wyrm, because I nearly always have acid immunity by the time I fight these, so they are just loot pinatas.

Favorite Unique is Wormtongue. He's the first of the 'great' uniques, and I always hope he'll drop something amazing.

I like cloaks. They're cheap and light and you can find some great ego cloaks.

2. What is your favorite [NON-SPEED] armor ego?
I'll go with Permanence.

3. What is your favorite weapon ego?
Also Defender, it makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

4. What is your favorite artifact armor?
Probably Thorin, I love the immunity and it's not too hard to find.

5. What is your favorite artifact weapon?
You know, I would say Narsil BUT SOMEONE TOOK IT OUT OF THE GAME. I'll go with Sting as a secondary (great early weapon thanks to the extra blows).

6. What is your favorite artifact amulet, light, or ring?
Phial. It's frequently not the first artifact I find anymore, but it's still got a special place in my heart.

7. What is your favorite artifact overall?
I'm gonna cheese out and say Feanor.

8. What is your favorite race?
I'll be interesting and say Dwarf, although I only play them for Priest/Paladin (everything else is High Elf).

9. What is your favorite class?
Mage is my favorite although I don't think it's the best.

10. And Finally, what is your favorite monster?
Probably Dragonflies. They are super squishy and the first one I kill is usually worth tons of xp.

Elven Cloak OR Black Clothes (love the stealth)

2. What is your favorite armor ego? (Please don't say speed! :P)
Elvenkind (resistances and stealth!)

3. What is your favorite weapon ego?
Pattern Weapon

4. What is your favorite artifact armor?
Isildur

5. What is your favorite artifact weapon?
So many to choose from... but Haradekket and Calris both have special places in my heart. (Actually Calris has a "terrible" place in my heart... hyuk hyuk)

6. What is your favorite artifact amulet, light, or ring?
The Arkenstone

7. What is your favorite artifact overall?
Gosh, I'm not sure... they way I play, I'm pretty lucky if I find any artifacts at all
I'll go with Thranduil. R_Blind is pretty tough to cover, and in Heng/Entro Thranduil gets a random high resist too. It's always amazing, and it feels even more unfair when I'm a caster class.

8. What is your favorite race?
Human for the challenge, or High-Elf/Amberite/Dunadan if I just want the stats.

9. What is your favorite class?
Warrior... although I'm fond of Weaponsmiths as well.

10. And Finally, what is your favorite monster?
Non-unique: I do a little dance inside when I see Sand-dwellers or Skaven. They're about as tough as Cave Orcs and they drop one or two items.
But my favorite monster is the AMHD

Unique: When I play in wilderness mode, I really like fighting Boldor and his escort. Probably the most entertaining fight in the early levels. Boldor teleporting around, healing and summoning... Master Yeeks teleporting and summoning... Meng Huo always gets summoned and he's a tank... and then poor little @ running around trying to dodge stinking clouds and set off chain reactions with the Kamikaze Yeeks.

I don't really have favorites. Except Doomcaller and Deathwreaker. Those are just over-the-top.
