    r1487 bugs

    - using Rogue command set, the repeat command "CTRL-v" no longer recognizes the full previous command when using Enchant scrolls. This may apply to other spells as well. Previously, I could buy a stack of enchant weapon to hit scrolls, read one to enchant my main weapon, then hit CTRL-v to make repeated attempts until I ran out of scrolls. Under r1487, CTRL-v prompts each attempt to select the weapon to enchant.

    - The cloak "Colannon" has no description on what it does when activated.

Actually all artifacts and objects that can activate don't have the activation described anymore, even after id. Is this intentional?

No. It'll be fixed when I merge in the rest of the new ID stuff-- current trunk may be a little annoying to play until then. (I'm working on the new ID stuff now.)

I am assuming that work on pricing is started in r1500? I switched to test the improved item list code (MUCH better), and just noticed that something seems wrong with the pricing on boots of speed. Just bought a pair of leather sandals of speed [1,+11](+5) from the armory for 12129, sold my leather boots of speed [2,+4](+2) for 1647. I thought the cost of a point of speed used to be much higher than that. Not that I'm complaining or anything, I needed more speed.

As you mentioned, Holhenneth is just showing the "It can be activated" line.

It actually started a good deal earlier (1358). Speed pricing was one of the more drastic adjustments (along with launcher prices).

          See this thread for details.

I've been playing several revs since then, guess I had just never found an item of speed in a normal shop before, or sold an item of speed with that low of a bonus. Thanks for the clarification.

IMO, speed objects just shouldn't be available in the armory. If you really want them, and can afford them before dl 80, they are almost certainly too cheap.

That's quite a good idea IMO.

FWIW the speed prices were boosted yet again in r1479. Probably not perfect, but should do until the object power rewrite scheduled for 3.2
