Equivalents to ***LOW HP WARNING*** for other situations?

The warning text and ignoring of input that the emergency HP warning does has been invaluable for me when I wasn't paying attention. Recently though I lost another promising character to pressing a direction one too many times then watching helplessly as some big nasties get summoned then breath. Is there any way to make it so monster summoning acts like the HP warning does- halting all input and giving a capital-letters warning?

Other warning possibilities might include "you just took more damage than X percent of your max hp" or "an unseen enemy just used a ranged attack on you."

Actually, the first one is a good idea. Many innocent charachters die because their players run them late at night. If we could monitor player BAC we could save even more.
