question on explosive breeders

i was wondering if monsters "breeding explosively" all bred at the same rate. it's always seemed to me some things, like lice, breed much quicker then say, worm masses. is that just because they're just faster monsters, or do they also breed more often?

thanks man, its great to have such an active and available maintainer, i'm a long time off and on *band player, i started playing moria when i was about 10, and i'm really impressed and happy with the recent direction of angband. mebbe this new release will stir up variant updates for some of the variants that haven't been updated in a long time as well
