    Steel Helm of Hammerhand

Is this thing worth using? It's not very good for a stealthy rogue, what with the aggravation, but the rest of the bonuses are quite nice. Resist nexus is fun.

Does aggravate do more than wake and lure monsters? Doesn't it speed them up as well or something, or is that just shrieker patch and other monster-ability aggravates?

It does not haste monsters, just wakes them. Which is bad enough for a high-stealth character who can otherwise pick and choose his fights. It might be better to carry it as a swap item, since it wont aggravate when carried.

If you have a character strong enough to defeat enemies, it doesn't matter if you wake monsters or not. Unless you awaken a room full of monsters. The attributes it provides your character are extremely helpful(especially resist Nexus) and the benefit of those attributes should not be minimized

If you do use the helm I would suggest also carrying either scrolls of teleportation or staff of teleportation.

Turns out I have nexus resistance from the Chain Mail of Arvedui and dark plus basic element resistances from the Leather Shield of Celegorm. The +3 to strength, dex and con would be nice, but they don't give me an extra blow per round so the helm is relaxing in my house for the time being.

I don't think I've ever had this many artifacts before, and nice ones to boot. The Long Bow of Bard is death epitomized (sorry, death molds).

If you have Bard, you don't need to waste arrows on death molds. There are plenty of other sources of EXP that actually drop stuff. Go a bit deeper and kill some medium-strength 'U's.

I meant that the Long Bow of Bard is so powerful that it has taken over the Death Molds' role of being 'Death Epitomized.'

Ah. But I bet Azriel still has you beat.

Found Hammerhand myself today, already have RNexus from Arvedui so will like yourself store it in the house until something better comes along.

Yup. Hammerhand generally ends up in the house for characters with bad saving throws who need RNexus to fight Sauron. Otherwise, a Helm of Might (+3) is a better option.
