high elf ranger - ideal starting stats

I'm kind of new to the game, and I'd like to know where should I invest my points at character generation when playing a high elf ranger. I know STR and DEX will possibly give me multiple blows with light weapons (don't know exactly how much I need) and I suppose I'll need high INT later in the game. So, what do you think it's the best combination?

The important ones are STR 18/30, DEX 18/10. Less than that and you will only get two blows. Beyond that, choose INT and CON to taste. (CON is only really useful well into stat gain, so if you expect to die anyway, you can mostly ignore it.)
