My first greater vault .... at dlvl11

I found my first greater vault, at depth 550' ... lol, how frequent is it to see one at this level? is it even possible (ie is it a bug?)

... i'm just grinding my teeth thinking at all the goodies in there ... and at my inability to get any of them

You are better off not getting in there at dl 11. You need some kind of escape, and probably at least a Wand of Teleport other to get into a vault successfully. Just get to 1500'+, and you will do better anyway.

I lost a nice character to a great storm wyrm around that depth once... Of course, that was back in the days of 2.9.3 when you still got wyrms at depths you weren't unbeatable by.

I don't know if I could resist going into that vault at that level. But yeah you really need at least a _Teleport or ?TeleportLevel or something.
