Feature request, or One YASD That I NEVER Learn From....

OK, I've now been whacked for I-don't-know-how-many times by Kavlax, who I thought was just another multihued 'd'. I just changed monster.txt to read:

    N:423:Kavlax the Many-Headed
    G:d

so now he's scary dark like Ancalagon.

And I got rid of the multihued flag. There's no reason for this YASD to require modifying the monster.txt file to avoid. (You can't get rid of multihued with a pref file.)

Please add this (or some alternate color change) to the original code.

For a similar YASD in a more amusing context, see eg:

In simpleton speak, kavlax is now a dark grey uppercase D? (which, btw, would have saved me 4 chars at least..)

No, he's a dark gray 'd', but either one will do. I wrote the change explicitly in case anyone else wanted to make it as well.

Pete - do you still play NPP much?

Kavlax is a Hydra in NPP, so perhaps your not recognising him ;-ţ

No kidding - I was going to suggest that he be changed to an M, but figured that would be met with a storm of protest. Interesting.

It's not quite that simple. Changing the 'd' to 'M' will mean he's no longer a Dragon according to the monster knowledge menu. I wanted a change that didn't require writing tedious C code, and left him as a dragon.

Version 2 of the 28 colour patch coming soon. I've managed to track down a second naming conflict, and just about to release a version of Unangband with the Sangband projection code to test that code path.
