Since when did the spelling for armor change?

USA 'Armor'

I would assume that this is mostly based on Tolkein stuff (who was british), it would be armour. That said though, there are 381 instances of "armor" and 158 "armour" in the code. I'd push for them to be all replaced to armour for consistency.

Being french, I dont know all of the spelling differences between the two. OTOH, I should have known(color, colour). And since I live in North America, armor seems more natural than Armour for me. But anyway, both are valid so spell it as you like. You won't see the difference in the "color of the armour"

I'll see you 158 uses of Armour, and up you $500 in busywork. If you really want this to work right, you need to "localize" angband. If you're jonesing for some OCD behavior, localizing code is your fix.

Fewer characters were important in the early 80s, where every byte counted but with today's pcs, you can spell color and armor as you like!
