    Rings of Flame?

Can somebody fill me in on this? If I have a Ring of Flame [+12] and I'm wearing a Ring of Damage [+10], will equipping the Ring of Flame increase my damage by 12 fire damage in addition to the listed benefits of the ring? i.e. what does the +12 mean?

If you see a number in brackets then it always applies to your armor class. In this case, the [+12] acts like a ring of protection.

The ring of Flame is [+12], the ring of Damage is (+10). The different brackets mean different things.
takkaria whispers something about options. -more-

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. I usually play casters where I don't care about such trivial details
