I've noticed that when I'm at low health a lot of times I get the message that I see an item on the floor rather than picking it up. I do have auto-pickup on and when I 'R'est then step on the item I pick it up but it will not pickup until I have more health. I think this may have been true in 3.0.9 as well but not sure.
Possible bug in 3.10

This is intentional behaviour to stop you wasting energy picking up items when you're in the middle of a fight.I've noticed that when I'm at low health a lot of times I get the message that I see an item on the floor rather than picking it up. No, it doesn't, but it's a fairly reliable indicator that you don't want to be wasting time *right now* picking up. The % of HP it stops picking up at is directly proportional to the level your hitpoint warning is set at.takkaria whispers something about options. -more-Comment

Ok, on to a new bug.
The Fear flag appears twice in the character screen. Not sure if there is a difference between them. Maybe one is resist fear and the other is cause fear?
Also I LOVE not having to get a *Identify* to find out what my artifacts do.My first winner: http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=10138Comment

Correct me if i'm wrong, but if you can't pick up an item during a fight, and you see let's say a potion of heal on the floor, and you can't pick it up, that makes this control a contributing cause of death for a character. Also, what if I see an artifact on the floor and can't get it, and then some master thief comes along and picks it up before I do. Personally I don't use the auto-pickup option, but I don't see why this control is implemented at all, it's not needed, and just leads to frustrating gameplay.Comment

There should be a new option implemented that lets you control whether or not you can pick up items while you have low HP...Correct me if i'm wrong, but if you can't pick up an item during a fight, and you see let's say a potion of heal on the floor, and you can't pick it up, that makes this control a contributing cause of death for a character. You can still pick things up by pressing 'g'. And you can still quaff that potion of healing while it's on the ground, without having to pick it up (or you can pick it up and quaff it, just as you would normally, as if autopickup were on...no difference). You can still pick up all the items you want to.... I don't think there's any energy loss that comes from autopickup being switched off and picking things up manually when you're low on HP.Correct me if i'm wrong, but if you can't pick up an item during a fight, and you see let's say a potion of heal on the floor, and you can't pick it up, that makes this control a contributing cause of death for a character.
