Does the to hit and damage bonus apply to ranged weapons or only to melee?

I believe it's only melee, but you can check by examining your ammo and seeing whether the average damage changes when you put the ring on versus when it is off. -
If I recall correctly, ranged attacks (i.e., ammo) will only benefit from + to hit from wielded equipment like rings, amulets, etc., but will receive no benefit from + to damage. The only exceptions being +to damage on the ammo itself or on the launcher.“We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school.
