My 1st win as a mage

My 1st win as a mage and the least # of turns for any of my wins. Took about a week of playing here and there, I'm guessing 12-18 hrs.

    Key takeaways:
    - Played a Dunadan to get decent hitpoints
    - Avoided uniques until the end.
    - Circled the high 90 levels until most uniques killed. Didn't want Morgoth to summon
    - Dove deep early to get loot and teleported monsters away from treasure rather than fight them
    - Kept 2 deep stacks of wands (drain life and stone to mud) to recharge mana and avoid using potions unless I had to
    - Morgoth defeated by:
-- mana storms and the push away spell (can't remember verbage)
-- staff of banishment and spell of mass banishment to nix reinforcements
-- staff of healing and a couple healing* potions to keep me in the fight
-- preemptively banished most everything off the level

    Congrats!

I've come to the conclusion that I don't need to be overly concerned about uniques because Morgoth summons plenty of non-uniques that I don't want breathing on me.

Banishment and mass banishment took care of non unique. I didn't want a summons of the tarrasque or cantoras.

With targeted phase door, summoned uniques are zero threat.
