    Tips for the Endgame?

    I recently came face to face with Morgoth for the first time, and quickly met an unceremonious demise. My first question is: how do I prise a silmaril from Morgy's crown? I managed to knock the crown off his head after a few solid melee blows, but I got the message that I couldn't lift the crown and died soon thereafter.

    My second question is about whether I was really well enough prepared to enter the throne room. I had been wandering around 800'-950' and could deal with most enemies without much difficulty. Here's the character dump; feel free to point out obvious oversights, any advice is welcome. Thanks!

    PS Is it just me, or is Tevildo a bit of a pushover?

    Looks fine to me. Your will is a little low if you only have 1 source of free action (each is +10). Its "enough" but Morgoth's slowing song can get through that much, so safer to have more.

    'k' to prise a sil from the crown. You do get a message but its easy to miss in all the noise.

    Tevildo is a common-ish way for me to die, depends how strong you are when you meet him, he's fragile but can crit hard.

      Ah, thanks! I think I had fairly high evasion when I met Tevildo, I guess he just never got a good hit in, but good to know he's not to be trifled with.

        Just get song of staying and a staff of earthquakes and kill morgy without having to think.

        Your xps were a bit low for the throne room, I'd hang around on 1000' till running out of turns which means more will, more evade....

        As stated already you use "k" to cut silmarils, note that to successfully do this you need to beat a 10d4 protection roll so bring a big weapon or a sharp weapon or use song of whetting.

          To escape after prying the Sil you'll need to either have enough AOE/staying power to have emptied the throne room or have Evasion ability Exchange place. After that is the escape itself, which requires another couple specific tools which I won't spoiler for you until you give the word.

          Also you are using Song of Staunching. I feel thats not sufficient anymore at D:1000, much prefer Staying for will+armour.
