if you find a forge you can take jeweler to make a lamp. keen senses is an option too.

You need to actually say what you need help with! -_-

Also, I have *never* seen this item before
      Code:
      r) The Shortsword of Celegorm (+1,2d9) [+1] 0.2 lb
It slays wolves and spiders. It cuts easily through armour.
It drains life from your enemies. It makes you encounter
more dangerous creatures (even when not worn). It cannot be
         harmed by the elements.
I'm envious. That's insane and worth rocking allout for. Also it's .2lbs, didn't know items like that still existed?

For general tips, you can see my post in your other thread. As seraph said you really need to be using a better light source by now. It's remarkable that you've found zero lanterns and let the torch go out, there's more than enough light sources by design. If you find a forge, you can forge yourself a lamp, other emergency options include buying Song of the Trees (to get +2 light), Keen Senses, and Inner Light (in that order of goodness).

If you manage to survive, get subtlety and eat everyone's face off with that shortsword!

Wow - a sharp, vampiric (+1, 2d9) shortsword? That seems too good to be true.
