    linux keystroke issue

    Hi there,

Hope this hasn't been asked before, or I might just be inept at searching for stuff in a forum :P

I have a little problem with Sil on Linux (built with X11): whenever I press "b" for starting a new character, it stops responding to any keystroke, and I must close and restart it; it only works if I select from the menu with the arrows and Return keys.

Any idea on how to fix this?

    Cheers.

There is bug in how the input queue is cleared when transitioning between the main menu and the char creation screen.

Here is a fix if you want to compile it: https://github.com/lucianposton/Sil/...0a46af94dd12e0

You can build the whole repro if you want. It has a few minor interface tweaks and x11 bug fixes. No gameplay mechanics changes (at least so far).
