So I skimmed after the start, but I'm pretty sure,... I never once saw you move diagonally. Might still somehow be possible, but it's going to be super ridiculous hard challenge mode if your not moving diagonally

if your keyboard doesn't have a num pad, you can get an external one or there is an alternative keyset. not sure how that works though. diagonals are very important.

            a 3 5 3 2 start is less total stats than something like 3 4 4 3 or 2 5 4 3. try putting 3 into just one stat instead of two stats.

stealth mode is usually unnecessary when there are no monsters around.

"intelligent " monsters such as orcs won't follow you in to a hallway under most circumstances. they will follow you if: there is only one of them; their morale is high (e.g. you are low on health); or if you exit the other end of the hallway. since your using charge you can take advantage if this by stepping back, stepping forward, charging and repeat.

you can catch up to scouts eventually as they often use a turn to shout. for archers see my comment here. not using diagonals will make this harder.

always use a light source. you can refuel your torch before it burns out by "using" another torch. keep your lantern if you run out of fuel; you might find a flask of oil later.

for serpents switch to a two-hander to get though their protection.

at around the 13 minute mark you pass over some boots that were better than your current greaves.

keep it up. you'll get there.

If your lantern is low on fuel switch to a torch so you can use the lantern in tactically important situations (unnatural darkness, flaming arrows vs Ringrauko and undead.) If you find some weak mithril object like greaves or a helmet, use it in the next forge to make a few Feanorian lamps. They stack on the floor so you can kill whispering shadows and creeping horrors more easily. (The former breed in a seething darkness. The latter you cannot afford a single round of melee, and hack-and -back leads to a powerful fear attack. Again, use flaming arrows)

There is a num pad on my keyboard I was just too stupid to think of using it up until recently

Sadly Alagon lays in the dirt at 350ft because I picked up a glaive that had a special status which turned out to be vampiric, I them proceeded to follow an easterling through a hallway and he along with an orc champion turned on me and that's all she wrote

I was playing on a computer at my cousins and I managed to get to 400 ft with a curved sword of Gondolin and a short bow of Gondolin, So i went into a one v one with Orcabal a champion of orcs, he brought my health to 14/34 and then bam

On that run I encountered a robe that increased melee and archer for the cost of protection, do you think I should have kept it on? Would you recommend dipping equipment into potions?

What you wear is highly dependent on your build and playstyle. If you are regularly engaging in melee, usually armors with protection benefits are better than robes. At the depths you are hitting, orc archers are going to be a lot deadlier if you don't have at least some some protection, and the armor slot usually nets you 1d4 or 1d6 and is usually a pretty reliable find in the early depths.

Dipping equipment into potions? I know you can #dip in Nethack, but I'm pretty sure you can't dip in Sil. Maybe I am misunderstanding.
                  You are on something strange
