There are plenty of Linux emulators for Android, I just can't get them to work.

I've tried tons of apps and can't mimic Linux, Mac, or Windows. Linux needs to be rooted which is extremely complicated, I can't find an easy way to do it.

There is no exe to apk converter which actually works. I can't find any thing similar for Mac.

Any suggestions? I really want to give 1.3 a go!

OS X, Linux desktop, Android and Windows are all very different systems which need custom code to make things run on each. The only thing that comes close to an emulator is Wine, which lets you run some Windows apps on Linux systems. The only way you'll get a new version of Sil is getting someone to compile angdroid with Sil 1.3.
