I'm at 450 feet, I have 3 herbs of terror and I have consumed all of my lembas fragments. How/where do I acquire food before I die?

Bread, lembas, meat strips, herbs of sustenance are randomly spread around. Other herbs give some nutrition as well (with the exception of herb of emptiness). Make sure you have no hunger item (using 3 units food per turn instead of 1, e.g. regeneration) on you and you are not fighting all around draining enemies (some enemies drain your food), cursed items w/ hunger and said enemies are about the only way you can starve to death. If things are desperate go faster looking around up and down.
