I'm wondering if the -2 from an enemy being stunned applies to the power of it's special attack. For instance does using a staff of light on wraiths help against slow & str drains? or blasting that shadow spider with a horn of thunder? What about trolls & knockback? I'm guessing not with snow trolls & equip damage (though they still have a -2 to hit you).
Does stunning enemies help against special attacks?

I don't know. Stun on you reduces all skills by 2, it doesn't change your damage at all. Since some special attacks are side effects of being hit, others require a will check, yet others check against unaffected stats (knockback tests strength vs. constitution, no?) the results would likely be confusing.I'm wondering if the -2 from an enemy being stunned applies to the power of it's special attack. It lowers all their skills by 2. Most monster special abilities are based on Will checks, so it helps with those.I'm wondering if the -2 from an enemy being stunned applies to the power of it's special attack.
