herbs of rage & fear?

Just trying to clarify something with herbs of rage. The change log for version 1.2.0 says:

- herbs of rage
- now make you completely immune to fear
- previously it was just resistance, but the possibility of frightened rage was silly

However wands of self knowledge tell me I have fear resistance (+10 to check). Is it actually working as intended?

Working as intended. It also removes existing fear status, which is useful for turning herbs of terror into improvised quickness potions in the earlygame.

I believe his point is that the Wand of Self Knowledge prints information that is inconsistent with the patch notes. It shouldn't say "+10 to check" if in fact you are totally immune.

Thanks Derakon, that's pretty much what I mean.

I'm not sure if
a. at +10 I'll automatically succeed in any fear checks anyway.
or
b. Staff of self knowledge isn't displaying the correct information
or
c. It was meant to change but isn't working properly.
