    1.2: Which customizations did you reinstate?

    I changed the broken door glyph to '.' - really missed this one before I redid that change. I can only barely tell the color difference between broken and open doors, and often waste turns trying to close broken doors.

    Also made my violet molds glow. Haven't seen one yet though.

    I didn't need to re-instate my change to diggers, to make them hand and a half. The new dig-from-backpack stuff makes that unnecessary. I won't enjoy those attacks of opportunity though. I sort of preferred the hand and a half route. Digging escapes were rare but very fun, and they'll be much harder now.

    Seriously you turned off in code the ability to make monsters glow in the edit file?

    Is there a reason for that?

      I agree that the colour difference between broken and open doors is not good, but wasn't sure what colour to use. I like the idea of changing to a dot. I'll think about that.

        I'm not sure what you mean. I don't think I did anything like that. Is there a bug? Have Giants and Easterlings etc stopped glowing?

          Giants and Easterlings still glow.

            They still glow, but I can no longer make molds glow by adding a ":1" to the I: line in the monster edit file.

            I guess this was an unintentional change in the code.

            Plan B: I'm going to turn violet molds into brown molds, attack-wise.

              When you say adding ":1" to the line, do you mean changing the last ":0" into ":1"? If not, then try that.

                Ok, thanks half. I figured it was supposed to be four numbers like in 1.1, but maybe it works with three numbers now. Thanks very much for your help!

                  Assuming Scatha and half kept the edit file documentation up to date, the top of the file should include a guide to the format. Could be they removed a field that wasn't used any more, or made it optional.
