Riposte and two weapons

In my present I found Glamdring, and put up a little will and things like that. Then, at 250 feet, the earliest I have ever found any artifact, I found Galadriel. Three questions: Is it worth it to two-hand these instead of a -2 1d7 shield? How should I use them? When does Riposte apply?

Two-handing these with Parry or one-handing Galadriel with Parry and Subtlety is worth it. You won't need a shield in melee anymore with the evasion bonus you get that way.
