    #1000 on the Sil Ladder coming soon!

    There are currently 999 characters on the Sil ladder - Who wants the honor to be #1000?

    Sil is now the 3rd most played variant on ladder dumps:

    Angband (3386)
    ToME (2940)
    Sil (999)
    Hengband (687)
    Chengband (491)
    NPPAngband (414)
    FAangband (391)

    Congrats to the developers, it has surpassed many other variants that have been out there for much longer!

      Thanks fph! I should point out that since Sil games are shorter, it is probably going to lead to more characters on the ladder per hour played or something. That said, I'm really happy about the ladder community -- very helpful and friendly comments. Indeed Angband.oook.cz has been friendly to Sil in general. Thanks everyone.

      PS Despite the ladder comparison not really meaning anything, we're even catching up with Vanilla, which is pretty cool. Good luck to number 1000.

                  Anyone want to guess who is #1000? It's me! I just posted #1000, Hugo 1000, a Fingolfin House character who just found Glend.

                  P.S. This is half's version of Sil 1.1.1, NOT MarvinPA's!!

                      ... and if we were to treat Hugo's 301 dumps as a variant by themselves then Sil would still be third with 699, and HugoSil would be eighth on the list.
