Okay. I am fucking tired of being owned by orcs when my evasion is at least 5 points above their attack. And my attack is 3-4 point higher than their evasion. This is a REGULAR occurrence. BULL SHIT! I propose that naugrim belegost be officially designated a challenge race!!!

It technically is a challenge race

You're playing the lowest dex race in the game. You're naturally going to have a hard time hitting things, and you're going to get hit more often too. This is partially offset by (a) greater str -> damage output and (b) good CON, but it's still a bit harder than the Noldor (a fair bit harder if you're not used to dodging / manipulating the packs).

Orcs use the advantage of numbers. Even if their melee and evasion is a lot lower than both of yours, there are so many of them and they'll get in so many attempts, and just one hit can do up to 14 damage. Treat orcs the way they're designed to be - as pulling a slot machine of 'you might suddenly be in incredible danger' proportions.

Getting surrounded by Orcs = *BAD*

When have Orcs 360 degrees around you, the start behaving like cat warriors.

This is what I usually do when starting out:
Regarding those Orc *punks*, I'd would designate AT LEAST 3 DEX (even as a Naugrim!!), get Charge + maybe Power and Knock Out each-and-every-one of those motherfuckers. It also helps to get Sprinting for escape OR even *run-back-and-charge* purposes, which I always do.

Against orcs some crowd control via positioning and slaying weapons works wonders - especially when they arrive from two sides. I also would try a lighter armour in the early game and go for heavier armour later. And yes, everything but Noldor IS an official challenge race.
