You mean you missed the Easter Egg hunt of 2012? Don't worry, the Easterlings will be waiting for you.

Is Scatha talking about the three Silmarils?

Ah, you could've had me going. You should've said something like, danger negates the silmaril curse if you are wearing at least 3 items of danger. lol

Lol nevermind -- I totally didn't read Scatha's post correctly. Must have been the film of Finarfin blood that is still coating my eyes.

I really don't understand that at all. Why would you want danger? And, what is a balancing curse?? Me are perplexed.

Anything with danger or a balancing curse, really. (Curufin stands out in my mind.)

Hey, which three?! I would say that artifact helm I never find that grants loremaster might be one... or at least, one I would want.

I'm not exactly sure what the question is. In some sense any self-imposed conditions which make the game harder are a challenge mode. It's not one which is tracked by the game, but it's a natural challenge which some other people are trying.

With three notable exceptions, I agree. (Perhaps even then.)

    I dare say it does!

That triple Sil curse really hits hard...

Oh wow, i assumed that was something that half threw in with 1.1 for this christmas -- I didn't realize it was in the original release!

    A short story:
Last Christmas, prior to Sil's release, half gave me an advance copy of Sil to get my opinion. I was impressed, but for various reasons didn't actually play for any length of time; in particular, I didn't realise the present could be opened.

So if you'd all shut up about it, that would be great.

Just played a game and got Ringil as my present at 50'. Was having a pretty good run til I got boxed in by a Sulrauko and a Cat Warrior. With the curse I couldn't hit'em at all and died rather quickly. That curse is pretty rough at low skill levels.
