The second release of NarSil is now available for Windows, MacOS, and as source from the release page; savefiles from 1.3.0 onward should work fine with 1.3.1.
NarSil 1.3 is meant to be an (almost) exact copy of Sil 1.3 updated to modern Angband code and interface. Since 1.3.0 was released many bugs have been fixed and improvements made, mostly by backwardsEric, to whom I am very grateful. Despite this, I am sure there are still inadequacies (tiles, for example), so there will at some stage be a version 1.3.2.
Before that, however (and indeed quite soon) there should be a version 1.4.0, which will diverge from Sil 1.3 in gameplay in the ways outlined here. The intent is for the 1.4.x line to be the foundation for the long-promised Beleriand.
If you are confused by all this, I am not surprised; so am I
