I've finished all of these and I must say that, after the manual, they've taught me more about playing Sil-Q than 10x as much time playing as a beginner.
Over 8+ hours he shows us a winning run, all the way from character creation to escaping the throne room with a Silmaril. The character is a straightforward Noldor fighter like I and, I assume, most beginners would choose. He's focused on melee and evasion but, over the course of the game uses skills from every tree.
The running commentary tells you all the decisions that MicroChasm makes. Allocation of EXP, exploration strategies, escape from tight spots, and taking down enemies, you get it all explained.
I'd suggest that anyone who's not an elite Sil player should watch this before spending too much time getting discouraged. Even the elite players might learn something that they've overlooked.
