    Mithril shirt of Bilbo

    Code:
    # The Mithril Chain Mail of Bilbo

    #N:33:of Bilbo
    #I:37:20:2
    #W:60:4:50:40000
    #P:35:2d4:0:0:45:0
    #F:DEX | CON | STEALTH | HIDE_TYPE |
    #F:RES_ACID | RES_ELEC | RES_FIRE | RES_COLD | RES_DARK |
    #F:RES_POIS | LITE | REGEN
#D:A shimmering shirt of true-silver, forged long ago by dwarven smiths of
#D:legend. Retrieved from the hoard of Smaug and then worn by Bilbo in the battle of five
#D:armies, then by Frodo, whose life it saved in the Mines of Moria, this hauberk
#D:will provide protection, yet not be a burden to its wearer.
The idea is that it has huge AC and is sort of dwarven. That's pretty much all Tolkien ever says about it. I made it incredibly light, made it sort of defeat darkness and gave it RES_POIS to make it valuable.

    EDIT: Minor code corrections.

I think that Bilbos mithril chain mail is same as Belegennon.

Ah yes, that would make sense.

Maybe add some flavor text indicating this then?
I also rarely use Belegennon, these abilities would be more useful for most players I feel.

That's because this is significantly more powerful than Belegennon is. Belegennon gives +4 DEX and +2 Stealth, rBasic + rPois, and a teleport activation. Compared to that, this artifact is overkill -- +2 CON, rDark, regen, permanent light, and +25 more AC more than make up for losing 2 points of DEX and the activation.

(Also for some reason the proposed artifact does an extra 1d4 damage when thrown compared to Belegennon...)

You'd have to convince me that the current body armors are too weak before you could reasonably propose adding this one in.

Honestly, I think with Belegennon already extant there is no reason to do anything.
When compared to Celeborn(same level and rarity, different material) it has better(arguably) resists and comparable stats (more useful for anyone planning to use stealth, less so for either stealthless mage, priest, paladin or warrior) although the activation on Celeborn is way better. Overall, neither trumps the other.
EDIT: My suggestion was way overpowered. Two of its abilities would have had to go, and most likely it would be either anti-dark and dwarven or anti-dark and poison, making it Belegennon.
