    Making the game more contemporary

    It's great that Angband takes on a historic air through its connection with Tolkien, but I think it might be more attractive to newcomers if there were some more contemporary references, too. So, I have a suggestion: How about we rename one of the uniques? I was thinking specifically of Omarax, the iTyrant.



    (Maybe I should have saved this for April 1 so people would know I was joking?)

    maybe you should have, for clarity and a bigger effect

    In case you are at least a bit serious, BTW, it's very easy to change the name of the monsters...just edit
    lib/edit/monster.txt
    there is no need to recompile.
