I just ID'ed a staff of slow monster by slowing a monster that I did not know was there. Since I did not know the monster was there I got no message. I just used the staff and it said you have 9 charges left then two squares later I ran into a slow dragonfly. Maybe this is working as intended but it seems like if I don't know the monster is there how did I know it got slowed?

Also in the same game I drank a potion of Brawn but did not get a strength increase although it did lower my wisdom. It's possible my strength was not at max when I drank the potion. Do the stat swap potions restore your stat before raising it?My first winner: http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=10138Comment

Follow up to the above, when I drank a second brawn potion it workd as expected and I know my strength was at max so I assume that stat swap potions do not restore the stat before attempting to raise it. Whether that is working as intended or not I leave to you to decide.
BTW great job with the new version I'm really liking it.My first winner: http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=10138Comment

Er, this bug appears to be a lot worse than the issue of lack of feedback from unseen monsters. I'm getting auto-ID from all devices! Any unknown rod or wand, I just point it at a wall and aim/zap it, and it gets IDd. Can anyone else confirm this behaviour in 3.3.0??"Been away so long I hardly knew the place, gee it's good to be back home" - The BeatlesComment
