[3.3] crash in angband-win-3.3RC-b822465

Got a crash in angband-win-3.3RC-b822465: assertion error after killing Saruman. He dropped something that I suspect caused this when I walked over it (dark cloak symbol). If the drops are pre-determined in this version I make a savefile just before killing him.

That didn't happen again, so item was not the cause.

Did he drop the same item then? These kinds of crashes are quite likely to be object-related as a lot of changes happened in 3.3 (object flags, mimics, etc.).

Same items as far as I can tell. It did crash before I got to pick up any of them, but there was elven cloak, same as now (Elven cloak of Magi {pconf}. Nice).

Battle however didn't go same way, in first he didn't summon anything, this time he did summon Glaurung, so it was quite different.

That event is now gone. Considering that this was first crash in this game and I'm already at the near-endgame I don't think savefile reveals anything.

But here it is anyway.
