Bug report: / on numpad on win7

    Hi,

Running the latest RC on windows 7, I noticed that the following usecase does not work:
    - 'I' to examine an item
    - '/' on the numpad to switch to equipment

This works in 3.2, and using the other '/' key works fine, too. It does not matter if numlock is turned on or off.

For the record, I am using a french azerty keyboard. I noticed this bug at home, so I cannot be more specific details here, but if you need more information, I will happily provide them when I get back.

By the way, another rambling. I am used to moving with the numpad, but I cannot "shift-run" if the numpad is turned on. The problem is, when it is off, I cannot use it to provide numbers to the game (in stores, or to drop part of a stack).
I an ideal world, I could run *and* provide numbers to the game whether the numpad is on or off. But this is not new to 3.3, so not technically a bug, more a feature request.

Thanks a lot for your efforts!

Thanks for the report. I'll hold up my hand and say that little input buglets like this won't all be fixed for 3.3 - they'll take a long time (because the input layer rewrite is big) and we don't want to hold up the release. Of course, we'll fix any that make the game unplayable - but things like numpad bugs will have to wait until 3.4

Or 3.3.1 since you decided you will have bug releases ;-)

Sure - but my point is that 3.3.x will backport bugfixes from the development of 3.4

Ah, now I understand what you said: wait until 3.4. I read that as, when 3.4 comes out, then you will get it. You mean: when 3.3 is out, then we'll start working on it :-)

Sure, no problem at all. I just wish for it to be fixed someday, but as you said, it does not make the game any less playable.

Do you want a ticket, or else?

              Yes, please open a ticket.

I can try to replicate this at work although I don't have that kind of keyboard.
