We'd like to get a splash screen to display when the Android version Angband starts up. I think the resolution should be 800x480. We can add your work to the credits in the app, and I might even be able to offer a few Bitcoins as a reward.

Edit: On second thought 480x480 might be a better resolution so that it will display well in either orientation.

Totally free app, or do you plan to make money from it in some way or another?

It's free. It's been in the market a couple years.

We haven't thought too seriously about trying to make money from it. There's a site called scoreloop.com that can add interesting social features to games. I discovered that site when I played "Cut the Rope". I thought scoreloop had some interesting potential for Angband with leaderboards, achievements/trophies and virtual goods sales.

Virtual good sales in Angband would be amazing. I'd love to see you sell artifacts to players not entirely clear on the whole perma-death thing.

Give me some info to work with, other than it's a splash screen for Angband, should it state a version number etc or just purely be a stylish fantasy version of the Angband name?

No version number. It should probably include the word Angband, but keep in mind that the ascii title screen will be displayed immediately after this image. I like the colorful, cartoony style of the image at the top of this page:

Maybe something like that which includes a single adventurer and possibly a monster. I'd like the image to represent the fantasy world rather than the game itself, so I'd rather not have ascii characters in the artwork.

I'm open to other ideas, too.
