    3.3RC: Arrow stacking behavior

Not sure if this has already been reported, or if it's even considered a bug. Feel free to delete this thread if it's irrelevant.

I'm playing one of the 3.3RC (revision 431faa7). After my first (short) trip to the dungeon, I bought more arrows at the general store, and was surprised to see that they didn't stack in the usual manner. I have a stack of 34 and a stack of 66 arrows (+0, +0) in my quiver in the attached savefile.

Dropping part of the 34-stack and picking those up off the ground caused a merge (sort of); I then had a stack of 97 and a stack of 3.

Apparently it has something to do with stacks over 99. The game used to merge, say, 110 arrows automatically into stacks of 99 and 11. It doesn't seem to be behaving that way for me now, unless the combined total is 99 or less.

edit: well, I am still new at this and apparently my "savefile" was too big to attach. I probably did it wrong. Sorry about that.

Did you use an old save file for this game? If you did it might be an old issue...

You need to zip the save file to be able to upload it.

No, this is a brand new character generated solely from the nightly I downloaded.

It has been that way for a long time, believe it or not.
Perhaps as long as we have had a limit of 99 arrows per inventory slot.

There is no functional difference between two arrow (+0,+0) stacks of 66/34 or 99/11 or 50/50 for that matter.
In all cases, as soon as you shoot 11 arrows, the rest merge into one stack of 99.

edit: okay, but I have a stack of 81 and a stack of 1 (previously around 10, but i've been shooting them...). Both stacks are (+0, +0) and bought from the general store.
