Nightlies: Bug reading Rune scroll off ground

This sounds like the same problem reported here in the issue tracker and declared fixed, but it appears to have popped up again. If you load the savefile, you can see that I have created several runes with this scroll, and it is still there. It works exactly like in the issue in that if the scroll is unidentified, it will not be identified by use. The duplication bug happens whether it is identified or not, but only if it is read from the floor.

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, then why are beholders so freaking ugly?

    Good catch!

I can replicate this... shouldn't be too hard to fix. I think the issue has to do with the fact that the rune pushes the scroll off the square.

OK, I was right, and I do have a fix in staging. Once one of the other devs looks at it and signs off it should be in the nightly.

In the meantime, it looks like warriors will be filling corridors with runes :P
