Bug in current vanilla, Git? Trac?

    Hello.

There is a bug in current vanilla priest spell counts. I just downloaded the latest nightly build and it is still there: Priest spells detect traps and detect doors/stairs got merged at some point and that lead to "Study (1)" message even that all prayers have already been learned.

That same bug was in mage spells earlier when some spells got merged, but that one has been fixed.

What is the "official" method of reporting these kind of bugs now that there is Git and Trac?

I think bugs affecting the V nightlies and releases should still go on Trac.

If you are playing someone's personal repo (e.g. elly's) and you find a bug there that isn't in the main repo, then report it on github, or by email or whatever.

Yup, this is the way to go. trac.rephial.org is for bugs in official versions from rephial (including nightlies). Bugs on any other branches should be reported to the relevant bit of github.

I'm pretty sure that this bug already exists on trac - but no, I am confusing this with #1171, which is a feature request.

Another pretty minor bug. I played around with debug-mode testing various scenarios and quit the game with gauntlets that were unsuitable for spellcasting on. When I started new char using same savefile game told me "your gauntlets are unsuitable for spellcasting" before giving me choice for using old char as template.

I just noticed that one too: I got "you have trouble wielding such a heavy weapon" before it took me to the char-based-on-previous screen.
