Angband on Blackberry?

Hello, first time posting here, though I am a huge fan of Angband. I do web development, primarily with php, though I am fairly acquainted with C.

Here is my thought. I look at my blackberry, and see a full querty keyboard and just have to wonder, why is there no Angband client for the Blackberry?

If no one is working on this, I would start learning how blackberry apps work, and begin the process.

Any thoughts?

AFAIK nobody is working on a bb version of Angband. There was an attempt to port Angband to java, which would have worked on many handhelds, but it was abandoned long ago. In my view it would be easier to use the SDL for platforms which have it, though I have so far made zero progress in my own case (Symbian S60 on a Nokia E90). There is a version for the Nintendo DS - but the FAangband version is a lot more functional than the V version.
