    Comp 210

For october we're playing Zangband 2.7.5pre1. We're playing a ghoul, an undead race that didn't make it to Hengband.

If I'm offline I'm probably in the middle of maintaining Gentoo or something-Linux or other.

Some of the links on the variant page seem to be broken for this one . . . if you go to zaimoni.com there are files up to 2.7.4 that work.

Of course the 2.7.5 savefile doesn't seem to work with 2.7.4.

And yes, this WORKS on Windows 10 64-bit! As for the non-Windows counterparts, you tell me.

So, exploring a world map! Umm, are there some parts of wilderness where it's more dangerous that Newts? Or is it just in proximity to the numbered danger zones that one might expect to encounter ancient dragons, etc?

Also, just got the books in the mail I ordered during the PCB comp, and read the first today, Nine Princes of Amber. Now I begin to see who Corwin and Dworkin what Amberite death curses are, lol!

ranger jeff, you want to stay away from mapped regions designated by HIGHER numbered areas. The higher the number, the more dangerous.

Compeition on angband.live has been updated. Runs will be recorded, while I work on putting up a playback mode for the top 3 runs for comp 208.

No other participants may make this a moot point, but no turncount on the comp ladder may make it difficult to decide a winner, if anybody kills the Unicorn...

Also, wow how tedious! This is the first time I've built a spreadsheet, to keep track of quests, what stores are where. And homes aren't linked?!? What's the point?? I guess I seeing reasons for the evolution to PCB...

I am taking a run at it don't worry you won't be the only one.

About keeping track of which shops are where, the knowledge menu ~ does this for you in-game.

Does this mean that Compo 210 runs are auto-recorded?

Also it's broken right now I think I'm the only victim thus far - don't play on angband.live until I fix it (I don't think anyone was going to anyway)
