Comp 153 is up -- it is a PosChengband 3.0.5 Amberite Chaos-Warrior.

Newbies to PosChengband: there is a cure mutation service in the town of Zul. You are probably going to need it

This comp is slated to take a month. Let's fill that comp ladder with dudes, shall we?

You found a nice Patron for this comp: I've been killed twice by him already (summon hostiles AND paralyzed) and several times permanent stat drains. This will be fun. But also xp drain has been 'gifted' to me.

I think I found a bug. I leveled up to 20 and gained the exp from my Patron for lvl 21. But I didn't get the stat boost. Check attachment.

That's the *LARGEST* weapon dice on a -randart- I have ever seen!!

I would like to point out that sub-par melee damage does *NOT* mean the end of the world for Competition 153. Anyone can get *VERY LUCKY* at any time. For me, it just happened be at the Icky Cave. Thus, that's how ended up with this funky randart and the > 500 melee damage, which is pretty good for a Chaos Warrior.

Tip for all Compo 153 participants - Potions of Clarity restore SP, in case you didn't know! Keep this in mind if you're struggling to get good damage with Chaos-Warrior.
