Although never specified by Tolkien, both terms "orc" and "goblin" are used interchangeably, and therefore we will take the common path adopted by D&D and consider "goblinoids" to be the species.
But no such thing as a Kobold in LOTR. Scaley, reptilian dog-like creatures do not exist, despite the 1980s film adaptation having snout-faced orcs taken from (oh the irony) early D&D material.
