    4.2.1 seems pretty unforgiving...

    ... and I like it.

I thought this video is a nice representation of Angband in general and to some extent 4.2.1; made a bit more interesting by me accidentally buying an expensive dagger and only being able to afford a word of recall and 6 bolts to set out with.

Lots of @s have had unlucky deaths. This one has his fair share of adventure but survives to the end of the video and finds an interesting non-artifact weapon.

I finally found video editing software that doesn't make my brain bleed! This is what you have all been waiting for (even if you didn't know it). Because it means my Angband videos will be less boring and more watchable from now on as I'll be able to edit out all the painful pauses and me trying to figure out what I am going to drop from my inventory and other dull parts of my games.

My first exhibit: honestly not very exciting, but it has a happy ending and follows chronologically after the last video.

Interesting! Name? I managed to grab a Camtasia licence long ago when it was on Humble Bundle and it's OK, but I'd be happy to learn about an alternative. (Camtasia isn't bad, but it is quite overpriced at its regular price.)

Looks good! If I can make a suggestion: mix your microphone at a higher volume. It is difficult to hear your voice among the sound effects, and there is some white noise in the background that could hopefully go away if you raise the volume.

I am aware of these problems. Sorry about that. Simple solution is to lower the game volume and turn the fan off while recording (or use headphones). The program is called Filmora by Wondershare. I didn’t want a watermark so I paid $70 for lifetime updates (you can also pay $40 a year).

The next chapter in yet another brazen hare-brained game. Fun with a heavy crossbow of extra might:

Enjoy the videos and music that you love, upload original content and share it all with friends, family and the world on YouTube.

That denouement is awesome! But really, you has pretty much finished looting the vault, and got a nice jewel out of it.

Glad you liked it Pete Mack! As a Half-Troll I thought the jewel was pretty ho-hum for my character; strength is the last thing I need. I keep passing up potions of Brawn, too.

I'm curious what people think of the overall editing style. Kinda cheesy, I know, but maybe it was fun? I added a lot of dialogue while editing and I was surprised how difficult it was to make the dialogue sound spur of the moment or natural. To my ear a lot of it sounds a bit hokey. I guess I am not much of a voice over talent! hah. I probably will do a more traditional-straight up edit for my next video.
