I hadn't seen Ringil in a very long time either. It is incredibly rare.
First game in a while, and off to a smooth start

Retrospective on a ridiculous level Checkerboard vault at DL 99 is the most ridiculous thing possible. I found 5 endgame artifacts:
* 2 Elven rings (Vilya and Nenya)
* Pick of Erebor
* Trident of Wrath
* Caspanion
And any number of high-powered ego items (not to mention tons of ego ammo!)
* 28 weapons of *Slay Evil*, Holy Might, Extra Attacks, and Gondolin (and almost no other types)
* 3 Pairs Boots of Speed (+9 or better) and one pair Elvenkind (+8)
* Gloves of Thievery and Power.
* 2 caps of ESP
* 2 Shields of Elvenkind, and 1 Dwarven
* 2 Cloaks of Magi
* 5 Dwarven Armor, 3 Elvenkind (and 3 resistance, bah!) One of the Dwarven is adamantine, for 107 AC!
* Amulets of Magi, ESP, WEaponmastery.
* 7 dungeon spellbooks
And yes, the destruction of Feagwath was a bit of an anticlimax after all that (he had blinked out of the vault when I first met him) but it is still fun when you can get another monster to do most of the work.
Uniques killed:
* 2 big Balrogs, with Gloves of Eol as a swap
* Cantoras (Dropped the Trident of Wrath.)
* Feagwath (just after clearing the vault.)
* Now to hunt down the two dragon uniques, and maybe the dogs. With 4 immunities available, I can take them all for a change. Not so sure about the Tarrasque, as Ringil isn't so good against it (nor against Huan for that matter), but I could pick up the Trident, which would do 700+ damage against both of them.Comment

Was about to take on Morgoth, and saw one more huge vault. Since I am able to get all 4 immunities (Vilya + Narya + Eol + Thorin) , I took on Ancalagon and Glarung, who took 1 heal each. Glarung combined with a great wyrm of Ice managed to create a new kind of ASC, first by breathing fire and creating a lot of lava, then a frost breath.
